ABOUT
The Overture Gala is held one a year to gather community support for our arts education programs and the Adopt-A-School Financial Aid Subsidy Program. The program benefits thousands of Title I and underserved students across the state of Georgia, so be sure to bring LOTS of dough!
EVENT DETAILS
Our 2024 Gala Chairs are ardent arts supporters Rod McLean, Vice President & General Manager, Lockheed Martin, and his wife Kathy McLean , Founder & CEO, Wellborn McLean Group.
Master of Ceremonies for the evening is award-winning Atlanta News First Anchor, Allen Devlin.
Major event sponsors will get a sneak peek of the Live Auction packages during the Preview Reception. Guests will enjoy hand-crafted cocktails in a suave lounge, where they can scat to the sounds of Georgia student jazz artists. A delicious three-course gourmet dinner by Executive Chef Nick Alvarez will be served, while guests enjoy the 2024 Lead Actress and Lead Actor nominees of the Georgia High School Musical Theatre Awards program. Then, the husband-and-wife team of Auction Horizon will lead a rousing Live Auction. The Event will then outro to an After-Party, where guests can groove along to the sounds of the Eric Thomas Project.
