Snack Pack Program
Coupled with the Field Trip to Cobb Energy Centre program, the Snack Pack Program helps to fight food insecurity and mealtime hunger pangs.
Over 75% of the K-12 students served by ArtsBridge attend Title I schools. Many of the students rely on the free lunch program as their primary meal during the school day. Hunger can greatly impact a student's ability to learn, and numerous studies have proven its negative impact on language, motor skills, behavior, academics, and more. To partner in the fight against food insecurity, and to assist the academic journey of our K-12 students, every student who attends an ArtsBridge lunchtime Field Trip at Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre receives a nutritious Snack Pack.
Each Snack Pack is packed in a brown paper bag and contains non-perishable food items, such as juice, a fruit cup, a granola bar, crackers, and fruit gummies (Please note - contents may vary).
Through partnership with generous sponsors, such as Amazon and Renasant Bank, ArtsBridge can purchase snack items, assemble, and hand out the non-perishable Snack Packs.
