Snack Pack Program
The Snack Pack Program is an innovative partnership with HOPE Atlanta (formerly Action Ministries) to assist food insecurity and mealtime hunger pangs.
Many of the K-12 students who attend ArtsBridge programs rely on the free lunch program as their primary meal during the school day. Through partnership with HOPE Atlanta, Snack Packs help to eliminate hunger pangs, a significant barrier that faces so many of our children today. Numerous studies have proven the negative impact of hunger on language, motor skills, behavior, academics, and more. In an effort to partner in the fight against food insecurity, and to assist the academic journey of our K-12 students, every student who attends an ArtsBridge lunchtime Field Trip at Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre receives a nutritious Snack Pack. Each Snack Pack contains non-perishable food items, such as juice, a fruit cup, a granola bar, and fruit gummies (please note - contents may vary).
