ArtsBridge Educator Guide- The Atlanta Opera’s “La boheme”
This special abbreviated version of Puccini’s masterpiece tells the story of a group of young bohemians living in the Latin Quarter of Paris in the 1840s. Sung in Italian with English supertitles, this timeless story reconnects us with the youthful feelings of passion, love and loss. The performance features mainstage artists, the Atlanta Opera Orchestra and Chorus. This performance is an excellent way to introduce students to the size, scope, and grandness of fully staged opera.
