Broadway Connection’s Musical Theatre Performance in the style of Cabaret

Broadway Connection is bringing Broadway to you!  Students will have an unforgettable experience taking their musical theatre performance skills to new heights in a BC Master Class!  Join us for an exciting and inspiring Musical Theatre Performance class taught by a BC teacher and current cast member of the Broadway tour, CABARET.  Class starts with familiarizing the students with the show, the storyline, and information about the song they will be using (who are the characters, how does the song push the story forward, the intentions).  A movement warm-up will follow and then students will dive into a fun and high-energy dance combination learning choreography in the style of the show and bringing their characters to life.  Lyrics to the song will be introduced so that the students learn to put movement and vocals together in a show-stopping Broadway number.  The class will end with an informative “Behind-the-Scenes” Q & A where students are encouraged to ask about auditions, Broadway, and the excitement of performing every night!  Parents are invited to join the classroom for the Q & A.
