Snack Pack Program
Coupled with the Field Trip to Cobb Energy Centre program, the Snack Pack Program helps to fight food insecurity and mealtime hunger pangs.
Over 75% of the Pre-K-12 students served by ArtsBridge attend Title I schools. Many of the students rely on the free lunch program as their primary meal during the school day. Hunger can greatly impact a student's ability to learn, and numerous studies have proven its negative impact on language, motor skills, behavior, academics, and more. To partner in the fight against food insecurity, and to assist the academic journey of our Pre-K-12 students, every student who attends an ArtsBridge Field Trip receives a nutritious Snack Pack.
Each Snack Pack is packed in a brown paper bag and contains non-perishable food items, such as juice, a fruit cup, a granola bar, crackers, and fruit gummies (Please note - contents may vary) and includes a handwritten note of encouragement and positivity.
Through partnership with generous sponsors, such as Amazon and Renasant Bank, ArtsBridge can purchase snack items, assemble, and hand out the non-perishable Snack Packs.
INTERESTED IN SUPPORTING THIS VITAL PROGRAM?
Each field Trip Program requires 2,500 Snack Packs. For a $2,500 sponsorship, you can ensure that attending students receive a meal.
